Terms of Service
Last updated: 24 August 2026
These terms explain how our £0 upfront website build works, what happens if you choose to launch, and the responsibilities on both sides.
1. About us
This website and service are provided by Redirect Online LTD trading as Websites On Us. Company details:
- Company: Redirect Online LTD
- Registered company number: SC734751
- Registered address: 18 Crowhill Road, Bishopbriggs, Glasgow, G64 1QY, Scotland
- VAT status: not VAT registered
- Contact email: dominik@websitesonus.co.uk
2. What the offer includes
We design and build a professional website for your business with no upfront design or build fee. You see the website before you commit. If you approve it and choose to launch, an ongoing monthly service applies, which covers hosting, maintenance, updates and support. The ongoing amount is confirmed to you in writing before launch, and no ongoing charge starts until you accept it.
The build being £0 upfront does not mean the overall service is permanently free. Third-party costs such as domain registration or paid stock assets are separate and are only incurred with your agreement.
3. Applying
Submitting an application is a request, not a contract. We may decline or pause applications where the request is outside what we offer, where the content would be unlawful, or where we do not have capacity. Applying places no obligation on you.
4. Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate business information and respond to reasonable requests for content.
- Only send us text, logos, images or documents you own or are licensed to use, and confirm you have the right for us to publish them.
- Check the website for factual accuracy before you approve it for launch.
5. Revisions and approval
We include a fair round of revisions to get the design right before launch. Substantial changes of direction, additional pages or new functionality beyond the agreed scope may be quoted separately. Approval means you are happy for the site to go live as presented.
6. Ownership and licence
You keep ownership of your own content, brand assets and domain name. While you remain on the ongoing service, we grant you a licence to use the website we build and host for you. Underlying templates, code frameworks and internal tooling remain ours. If your ongoing service ends, hosting and support end with it; we will discuss options for transferring or exporting your content on reasonable request.
7. Ongoing service, payment and cancellation
The ongoing service is billed monthly in advance from launch. You may cancel with 30 days written notice by emailing us; the website is taken offline at the end of the paid period unless we agree otherwise. We may suspend the service where payments remain unpaid after reasonable notice.
8. Availability and support
We aim for high availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service, since hosting, domains and third-party platforms are outside our full control. We respond to support requests as promptly as we reasonably can during UK business hours.
9. Liability
We provide the service with reasonable care and skill. To the extent permitted by law we are not liable for lost profits, lost business, lost data or indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability in any 12-month period is limited to the service fees you paid us in that period. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything else that cannot be limited by law. Your statutory rights as a consumer, where they apply, are unaffected.
10. Cancellation rights for consumers
Where you contract with us as a consumer rather than a business, you may have a 14-day right to cancel. If you ask us to begin work within that period and we complete it, you may be asked to pay for what has been provided.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms to reflect changes in our service or the law. Material changes affecting existing clients will be notified by email before they take effect.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
